Around 3 billion iPod touch and iPhone applications have been downloaded from the Apple Store, the latest figures from Apple say.
Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs stated, “In less than 18 months, three billion applications have been downloaded. This is quite unlike anything we’ve ever seen!”

Lenovo Skylight Smartbook

The Skylight sub-notebook has been announced by Lenovo, this uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chip, and uses Linux and not Windows, and its price is 499 dollars.
This Linux device uses the ARM chip architecture, and it is a big move away from the usual Intel/Microsoft Windows model for the computers.
