Well, we were expecting that from the Software giant, as its arch-rival Apple doing quite awesome with its retail chain. So, this current announcement regarding plans to launch its retail stores is not surprising for most of us.
Definitely in these stores Microsoft will showcase the complete range of its different software as well as hardware products like PC games and its latest Xbox 360, its coming Windows 7 OS and a complete range of Zune and PC applications.
David Porter, the former Dream Works Animation executive will head up this Microsoft retail store chain.
Many experts say about this launch that Micisorsft hasn’t chosen an ideal time to open its retail chain, as a large number of tech retailers are already suffering from the current credit crunch.
However, Microsoft is in a position to take such kind of gamble, as these guys have enough cash in their pockets and if Apple doing well, why can’t they?
Let’s see whether Software giant again employ geniuses or just some nice and well-informed sales persons who will be able to offer useful and impartial advice.
